SRES is a niche practice operating on a regional basis within
the state tax consulting services of KPMG in the US, and is probably best known
for their incentives and tax credits work, including some very large
projects. The international side of the practice is known as Global Location and Expansion Services (GLES),
which is led by KPMG colleagues at offices in the Netherlands and other European countries.
Larry Cusack took over as the national leader of the Business
Incentives Group in 2004.
The international practice also helps to perform and publish sponsored
research work into comparative costs through collaboration with a Canadian
